Frequently asked questions
How do I send large files with Sehihi?
Drop your files on the page, choose how long the link should last and, if you like, add a password. Sehihi uploads everything and gives you one link to share by email or chat. Recipients open the link and download the originals.
Is Sehihi free?
Yes. The Free plan lets you send up to 5 GB per transfer at no cost. Paid plans start at $10 per month and raise the limits.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 5 GB per transfer on Free and up to 50 GB per transfer on Pro. Files keep their original quality; nothing is compressed.
Do recipients need an account?
No. Anyone with the link can download until it expires. Only the sender signs in, with a one-time email code instead of a password.
How long do download links last?
You choose when you send. On Free, links last up to 7 days. When a link expires it stops working immediately and the files are deleted from storage.
Are my files secure?
Files travel over HTTPS and are kept in private storage that is never publicly listed. You can protect any link with a password, delete a transfer at any time, and every upload is checked piece by piece with SHA-256 so the recipient gets exactly what you sent.
Where are my files stored?
In Germany. Files, the database and the servers that process uploads all run in German data centres, never on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, so file contents stay inside the EU and under GDPR. Sign-in and notification emails are sent from Resend's EU region. Payments are handled by Stripe, which never receives your files.
What if my upload gets interrupted?
Uploads are split into small parts. If your connection drops or you close the tab, pick the same files again and the upload continues where it stopped.
Can AI agents use Sehihi?
Yes. Create an API key and give it to Claude, Cursor or your own agents. They can send files, keep files in private storage and download what others send them, using the Sehihi CLI, the MCP server or the HTTP API.
